Founder and entrepreneur Jonathan Kaplan (of Flip camera fame) revealed to a select group of media that he'd been working on the idea for nearly a decade, and the concept for just under a year. There used to be a tiny grilled cheese restaurant on the LES in NYC. I was so sad when it closed shortly after opening. But it looks like The Melt has what it takes to thrive! Can't wait to go!
