What's Your Favorite Shellfish?

Yay for seafood! Pacific salmon season's just started, and incidentally, the rising temperatures are also ideal for that warm-weather selection from the sea that I like to call shore food. In light of the lobster rolls and crab cakes that we'll soon be enjoying, I'd like to ask: what's your favorite kind of shellfish?

I recently became allergic to shrimp and I am SO PISSED about it. So I picked crab - dungeness crab is the best!

@ticamorena I don't begrudge anyone who loves cephalopods at all. I didn't grow up eating it and as open-minded as I am in trying new things, I tried it on several occasions, I couldn't hold it down. Even fried calamari, and I love practically anything that has been deep-fried (my filthy little secret *shhhhhh*), I can't keep it down.

Shrimp and Scallops, but I couldn't decide between the two so I selected lobster haha, I LOVE cephalopods - omg, squid, cuttlefish, octopus, omg ymmmy omg, am salivaaating!!! yh, that's what growing up in central america and with spanish family will do to you! now i have to eat some tinned pulpo or calamares :)

its a toss up between shrimp, lobster and oysters i really love all shellfish with the exception of scallops

Scallops! I just love a perfectly cooked mollusk. Shrimp a close second: I love how quickly they cook. Two minutes and you're done!

Crab for sure. I used to not really care for it, because of all the work it involves, but I've grown to love it!

I just recently became allergic to crab, shrimp, and lobster. (tear) But at least I can still enjoy my oysters!

Practically all of them, with the exception of the Cephalopods. *shudders* and sometimes oysters.

Crab cakes are my favorite way of eating shellfish. But I voted for shrimp, because I love it anytime! My sister and I just hit Red Lobster for their shrimp fest and it was fantastic! I'm going to try to recreate their barbecued shrimp with pineapple salsa at home.
