May 1 2010 Today, many people (myself included!) are enjoying a refreshing mint julep in honor of the Kentucky Derby. While I love this sort of cocktail, which is made with muddled herbs and (or) fruit, I know not everyone is a fan. Some prefer clean cocktails that are strained and free of floating fruit chunks and herb leaves. What is your opinion on the matter? Do you mind if a drink is filled with stuff or do you prefer plain spirit and mixer?
