Are Newspapers One of Your Recipe Sources?

For years I've looked forward to checking out my two local papers' food sections. I've always found them to be a great source for inspiring and delicious recipes. Just the other day I cut a recipe for a shrimp and mozzarella tapa from the San Francisco Chronicle. How about you? Do you use recipes from your local papers?

Not really, only because our paper only has recipes that involve using a lot of processed foods like canned soups, etc. I usually either go online or I get recipes from cooking/food magazines.

My mom has tons of recipes clipped from newspapers and I copied some of them from her. Does that count?

Absolutely! I enjoy reading the weekly food section of the paper. The sad thing is that it keeps shrinking. I hope that it won't disappear one day. :(

Yes, especially because so many of them have great ethnic recipes. I tend to find them online, though — all that paper means a lot more filing for me! I wish a lot of the landing pages had better recipe search features, though...newspapers, are you listening?
