Well the Cherry Blossom fest doesn't really directly involve any kind of food... I live in DC and have never eaten any kind of food... am I missing the food part? I like food.

This is a great idea. I love seeing what's going on. But you forgot one of the biggest - D.C.'s Cherry Blossom Festival starts this weekend as well. :)
