I just found the Lappers trays because the inventor is a fellow alumni of UGA and my alum association made an announcement. I should have just looked closer to this post to see them weeks ago! Trés chic!

My only requirement is a standing tray table. I don't think that a lap tray really works for me since my drink is not going to be stable. The ones that have legs that slide under the couch are the best because they can get up real close to you.

when i was younger my mom and TV trays that we could use while we were sick since she would let us eat in bed. i miss those days. now i'm so afraid to get food in my bed that i don't dare try it. i think that i'll have to check out the suggestions to find something that i can pick up and use in my house.
