Peeps: Love Them or Hate Them?

Peeps may be the most quintessential of Easter candies, but they're possibly also the most polarizing. Their intensely sweet marshmallow interior and brightly colored sanding sugar exterior inspire strong feelings in both camps. Some wait all year for fresh packs of marshmallow chicks and bunnies to arrive in stores, but won't eat them until they're slightly stale and chewy. Others steer clear of what some describe as their chemical-y flavor.

I hate them. Which is weird because I remember in preschool, some girl had brought some and I asked for one and she refused. Later on, I tasted them and threw it up. But ironically I love rice crispy treats. But marshmallow peeps I cannot stand.

Yuck! They don't taste like anything to me, and the coating is so uncomfortable! They make me sick to my stomach.

Since they are a cheap candy, my parents would buy them but I always hated them. They are sickly sweet and are on par with black jelly beans. I can't imagine cooking with them. In Iraq, we got a bunch of peeps in care packages. We gathered them up and had a peep eating contest. I think the most anyone could stomach was 25.

So gross! Just looking at them makes me want to throw up. Thankful my Parents never bought these for us at Easter. Don't know what's worse the actual Peeps or all the recipes out there for "Peeps dishes".

Ugh, HATE them. Taste like plastic. If they *are* your cup of tea, though, there's no need to wait all year for Easter. There are peeps for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc - "enjoy" them year round ;]
