Orgeat Syrup
A sweet syrup used to enhance cocktails with a strong almondy taste. Originally made with barley and almonds, today it's made with a mixture of almonds, sugar, rose water, and orange flower water.

Any idea where to buy this in the bay area (specifically south bay -- but I could travel north :-) )? I've never been able to find it...

French speciality that is not only used for cocktails but also just with fresh water or cold milk. Definitely the only syrup I need to drink at least once every season (I'm not at all a syrup kind of person)...
