Would You Eat This Bacon Ice Cream?

San Francisco's Humphry Slocombe is famous for its Secret Breakfast ice cream, which divinely combines corn flakes and bourbon.

Curious what other breakfasty ice creams I might eat, I stumbled on this maple almond bacon ice cream on Flickr, garnished with a hearty side of bacon.

Would you give it a shot or say hold the bacon?

i'll try pretty much anything other than insects. and its not much different than the salty and sweet combo of when the syrup happily finds its way to bacon..!

I've had Coolhaus' brown butter and candied bacon ice cream, and it is seriously amazing. Not something I'd eat on a regular basis, but a couple times a year doesn't hurt!

I won't even eat regular bacon, so no. My husband LOVES bacon and couldn't even stomach the chocolate-covered version he tried. And he'll eat anything.

Truly not gross! Hubby and I make ice cream quite often and he made some buttery salted roasted almond vanilla ice cream and I did save bacon from b'fast and crumble it on top (since I've read so much about it) and for me - to die for! I love the salty sweet combo on just about anything but a turd.
