Girly Drinks: Love Them or Hate Them?

Yesterday's sangria got me thinking about girly cocktails. The Shamelessly Girly Cocktail is unmistakable. I believe it all began with the Cosmopolitan, which kick-started a drink trend of anything ending in "-tini" or topped with hearts. I rarely order girly drinks, but allow myself to indulge every Valentine's Day. What about you?

Too much sugar for me too; give me a good glass of wine or dry gin martini :-)

Hate 'em...they have too much sugar in them for me. Give me a good beer or a martini or something any day.

Depends on my mood. I generally go for beer, wine or straight up liquor. But I don't turn down girly drinks :)

Love them! And no hangover cause I'm not a lush, not that there's anything wrong with lushes they are great entertainment - male or female. :cocktail:

i usually only drink beer, but if I drink liquor then its usually in a girly drink. They are tasty and fun to splurge on! I also like vodka and cranberry, which is pink usually :)

Hate em, for the same reason as HaterTot. Sugary drinks give me the worst hangovers.

When I was first learning to drink, I would only drink girly drinks--easier to adjust to alcohol when masked by sugar! But, now, it's waaay too much sugar for me, which leads to hangovers. (most of the time) I like to keep it simple with an alcohol+mixer or wine, now.

Hate. Too much sugar, too much crap. My mother always said to drink your liquor straight or not at all. So, it's usually bourbon for me, thanks.
