Now that Spring has sprung, there's one thing that can't stop growing — the urban gardening rage. First Alice Waters was all over the news, then the Obamas planted a garden in the White House, with California's first lady following suit shortly thereafter. And a few days ago, we told you this dainty mixed-herb garden was one of our must haves for April. With the promise of warm weather for the next half year, this booming craze is only bound to get bigger. Have you caught the gardening bug yet? Tell us what you grow below.

I keep trying to grow herbs, but the squirrels dig up my seeds before they sprout! I will have to use little seedlings and try to protect their roots as best as I can. Furry little theives!

I planted my first vegetable garden today. I am so excited. Keeping my fingers crossed that my watermelon plant is fruitful too

I had a little window garden for a while, but I'm hell on plants and they all died. I plan to start another garden at my new place once the weather warms up and stays that way.

I would really REALLY love to start gardening, but in my stupid city we have had so much snow that it isn't possible and won't be for at least a couple more months. I literally have 4 feet of snow in my backyard right now. Stupid Canada.

I love gardening. A big part of the "green thumb" is knowing what grows in your area. You don't have to re-invent the wheel... learn from a master gardener (usually through local college extension programs) and do what they do at first.

I don't have enough yard for a garden...its tiny and filled with an enormous tree. I grow basil, parsley - flat leaf and curled, chives, mint, sage and oregano in pots. Plus some Thai basil.

miss malone, they are cute but dumb as a stick. You can walk right up on them and they dont see you and all of a sudden SPROING they leap about 3 feet in the air and when they hit the ground they start running, and they will run into trees and chairs and mostly our courtyard wall.

my mom has always had a veggie garden that we've benefited from at our house. ever since i was little we would have soo much stuff - and this year she's actually doubled the size of the land that we're going to use for it so we can grow more stuff.

I've always kind of been into it...my parents always kept a veggie garden that I helped with. Since I don't have room for a real garden at my house, I plan on growing just herbs, lettuce and maybe some cherry tomatoes by the side of my house this year. I do have a real garden at my inlaws' farm...we own 20 acres of it and my father-in-law helped me designate 1/4 acre to a garden. I have corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, yellow squash, carrots, cantaloupe, green beans, rhubarb, beets, green peppers, and jalapenos. Maybe I'll try growing asparagus next year. I love wild asparagus, but you have to get out to harvest it so fast, otherwise it turns into this big fern that you definitely can't eat.

My parents own a nursery and greenhouses so I've been around plants my whole life. I'm a member of my community garden in town and i love to dig around in the dirt.

I cant grow any real veggies, the Opposums and the rabbits and an occasional armadillo think I am feeding them.

I got the bug a few years back. I love growing patio tomatoes and making fresh sauce for the winter. (There really is nothing that tastes like a tomato that is still warm from the sun!) Planning on adding herbs and maybe peppers this year as well.

I am a member of the community garden in my town. It is in an abandoned parking lot. The people who run it built raised beds and provide organic compost. I am a brown thumb but last year I was able to grow enough herbs and vegetables to feed us all summer long. We even got pretty flowers. Can't wait to start again this year.

i plant a few tomato plants in amongst my landscaping plants. i would love to start a real garden plot, but thats a lot more work.

Only Herbs , its all I have the energy for. Already planted Dill, Chives, Rosemary and Thai Basil.

I really really want to start a garden. I think it could be very therapeutic. Not only do I want to grow herbs, fruits, and vegetables, but flowers too!
