I rinse fruit and vegetables with water and vinegar it helps kill germs.

Plain water. my fiancees grandpa uses soap and water, as does his mom I believe. I've actually never heard of a veggie brush, but its something I might look into.

Rinse it in water and then dry it in my salad spinner. If it's really gritty I fill the sink with cold water, let the greens soak for a min. or two while the dirt and sand sink to the bottom, then dry it in my salad spinner.

I rinse it and rub it a little with my hands. Otherwise, I let it be. A little dirt is good for the immune system...right? ;-)

I mix up a solution of baking soda and water and put it in a spray bottle. I spritz it on and rub it around for a while and then rinse it off well. It gets rid of pesticides. And for my garden produce, I soak them in the solution for a few minutes to get all the dirt, grit, and occasional slug off of my fruit and veggies.

wash things in water, unless they're mushrooms -- just wipe off the dirt and move on

I always rinse produce with water but I will use a veg brush on root veggies. It really makes a huge difference.

I rinse with water then dry. Grapes I soak in salt water and then rinse. I heard this help take off some of the pesticides.

I said other because it depends on the produce. I usually rinse most things, but some things I'll take a scrubber brush to.

i rinse veggies and fruit in water. i know that there are a lot of products out there that are supposedly better, but at what cost ya know? those products are at times kind of expensive.

i do at least one of all of those depending on what i can find and what i am cleaning and how much time i have or dont have.

It depends on the produce. If it has a hard or thick surface, like a potato or carrot, I wash and use a veggie scrub, especially if it just came from the garden. If it has a soft skin like tomatoes or lettuce, then I give it a good rinse and wipe down to get any possible dirt off.
