It wouldn't be Spring without seasonal hallmarks such as pastel-colored jelly beans and Cadbury Creme Eggs — and, of course, Peeps. Fans of America's favorite marshmallow delight may want to pick up Peeps: Recipes and Crafts to Make With Your Favorite Marshmallow Treat.
DIY projects range from cute and edible (s'more Peeps, Peeps meringue tartlets) to far-fetched (Peeps checkers, Peeps Christmas wreath). How do you feel about the concept?

I LOVE PEEPS!!!!!! oh man... so many memories from Easters past... I know this year I'll probably eat two boxes myself... I'm addicted.
1as a party planner by profession, peeps are invaluable lol
im loving the peep fondue
2yes it's silly, but hey! I love them. My dad actually suggested using blue Peeps as table decorations at my wedding. lol I don't think we are going to do it although I love the picture on the cover of the book where the little chick is serving as a place card holder. Hmm...
3I'm sure as hell not going to *eat* them... So I'm glad someone's putting them to good use.
4peeps are sick! haha but this is funny
5I am so over all the hype around peeps...
6I wish I had thought of the bride and groom Peeps for cake topper. That is so cute!
7my friends and i would always put peeps in the microwave and see how big they got before they blew up and made a mess.
8I have to admit that dipping them in chocolate fondue is really cute, at least in a photo!
9I loathe peeps.
10My husband's addicted to Peeps and I'd love to find some cool creative uses for them. I kind of like the idea of a book of them. I might have to check it out.
11Has anyone heard of Peep mashups? the CandyBlog does them from time to time... I personally can't eat Peeps. Too much sugary marshmallowy-ness for me to handle.
12Love it! What else are you going to do with them? They sure aren't edible
13I prefer to use Peeps for Peep Jousting.

i still try to eat one every year, but there's just something about 'em, yuck!
15I am with shoneyjoe...
16How that the company producing Peeps & Bunnies are cranking out these sugary bombs for every holiday (non of which even taste remotely good), I think its a rather unique idea for a "cookbook" of sorts. Perhaps many of us have outgrown the uber-sugary stage of our lives but I am sure we've got nieces, nephews, kids, students, etc that are being sucked into the madness. Think of it as a nifty way to show-off and look hip!
Though I would veto the Peeps
wedding cake topper!
17I know this is an old thread now, but I have to add, the ultimate in Peeps humor, if a little twisted, has got to be http://www.peepresearch.org/
