Get excited: when we caught up with Tom Colicchio, we learned that Top Chef season six starts shooting on April 27!

While Bravo hasn't unveiled the location yet, there's been plenty of speculation.

What city are you hoping it'll be filmed in?

I hope they go somewhere where no one would expect. Like Kentucky.

I wish they would go overseas...like London. Maybe Paris would be intense too, to add a language barrier and test classic French techniques...but I'm sure they wont.

im with yum, for sure seattle or vegas. i wish i knew when it was being filmed in NY so i could stalk the cheftestants!! lol, okay i wouldnt do that, but it would be exciting to see it in action!

I want Dallas! Somewhere in the south, so I would be happy with New Orleans.

well - i thikn that there are a few ideas. since they've done chicago and miami - they might go somewhere like dallas or houston, since there's great food there, or they could go to vegas - but i think that too many other shows feature vegas that it won't have the same resources.

i'm sure it's new orleans. i thought Tom mentioned that there was a reason the last seasoned ended in that city. i think they loved the time there and made it their next location!
