What's Your Favorite Steakhouse Side?

Few things can top a quality steak dinner as one of my all-time favorite meals — although I must admit that half the reason I look forward to going to a steakhouse is for the classic sides. The one side I'll always order is creamed spinach, especially the version from the House of Prime Rib. What's your favorite side? Specify in the comments below!

Steak is usually a big meal for me, don't eat that much meat too often, I'm not really a fan, but when I have it I indulge. I love it with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, but a side of grilled peppers sounds great too!

I'm with Mamasitamalita -- some good red wine. Also, make my steak rare. I like my steak moo-ing. I know it's gross, but that's just how I like my steak.

I like a nice big salad, with just Olive Oil and red wine vinegar on top.

I normally like Yorkshire pudding, but it's never an option here in the steakhouses. And I'm with the person wondering why mushrooms wasn't an option! lol

I like mushroom gravy with my steak and a salad. Sometimes I like grilled onions and peppers instead of the mushroom gravy.yum yum!

Yorkshire pudding, when I can get it. I've only had it when my mom makes it. I don't think I've ever seen it at a restaurant.

MLH1, asparagus is really easy if you just microwave for a little bit on each side, 2 min? season to taste. or coat in olive oil and salt and pepper and grill it and it is delicious!

I love beans with my steak! My parents grew up in central California so we eat our steak "Santa Maria Style" - ranch beans, baked potatoes and salsa. Yummy!

I like a nice crisp salad with my steak. All that meat gets too heavy, so I like to have something crisp and clean to cleanse my palate.

i love when they have asparagus. I've never been able to cook asparagus correctly at home, so i always like it at places like that. Asparagus or green beans are always good at steak places.
