When Traveling, Do You Seek Out Food Institutions?
by POPSUGAR Food 11
Whenever I'm traveling to a different city, I spend some time looking into the eateries I must visit. Sometimes, the most recently acclaimed restaurant is at the top of my list, but more often than not, I'm out to try the city's most famed food institutions. On a recent trip to Los Angeles, I knew I had to visit Langer's, the Jewish delicatessen known for, as Nora Ephron once put it, "the finest hot pastrami sandwich in the world." Also on the list: The Pantry and Cole's. When you travel, do you make it a priority to visit a city's food institutions, too?
