I grew up as a slow eater, but now I think I'm neither slow nor fast. My speed's average.

If I'm eating out or around other people then I tend to be a faster eater. I'm usually one of the first people done. But if I'm home alone then I'm a very very slow eater, even to the point where I have to rewarm the food sometimes.

Kind of slow and I love taking my time to enjoy food. My husband is a really fast eater and it annoys me sometimes. I tend to unconsciously try to follow his eating speed.

I always do crossword puzzles or Kenken puzzles while I eat and it makes me eat pretty slowly. My husband, however, is the original human vacuum cleaner. I'll set a plate down in front of him and about 5 minutes later, he's done. He has a really big mouth and he likes to use, like, HUGE spoons to eat with. Maybe that has something to do with it!

I'm usually a fast eater unless I am out with business clients. Then I make myself keep pace with the people I'm with. It's hard, but I don't want them to think I'm wolfing my food down to get rid of them!

LOL CiaoBella!I was the slow eater in my family but learned out to eat faster as I grew up because after my dad was done, he would still see 1/2 of my food left on my plate and always say "Let me help you with that".LOL, no thanks dad.

I really need to learn to slow down. I can go slowly when I'm with a bunch of other people and there's plenty of conversation but I'm sort of a wolfer and I don't have a good excuse (IE time constraints, big family) for it!

I am a super slow eater, I was always the last to finish as a kid and now my hubby is always finished before me. WHen we go out to eat with friends I never finish and always end up taking most of it home.

It depends. My boyfriend eats SUPER fast, so I feel like if I am taking my dear sweet time that it's weird, haha. If I am in a hurry I usually eat fast. If its just a normal day, I think it eat somewhere in between. Like, it won't take me 20 minutes to finish a sandwich or something, or 30 minutes to finish pasta. I just don't like to waste time =P

i'm definitely in between. my husband used to say that i was a really slow eater but there are times when i eat much faster than him - although he likes to look around a lot and doesn't usually focus on eating.

I'm a slowww eater. I don't care if I'm running late or if someone is waiting on me. There has been many times where I've eaten my food in the car on the go (while someone else is driving btw) while everyone else horked down their food (which usually led to overeating too). I am reasonable though, it's not like I'll eat one pea at a time, I just want to at least taste my food :D
