Simple Tip: Make Your Egg Slicer a Multi-Tasker

Here's a tip I picked up a long time ago - you've probably already seen it, but I thought I'd pass it along just in case. If you happen to have an egg slicer in your mix of kitchen contraptions, you can now move it from uni-tasker to multi-tasker. Not only are egg slicers perfect for creating uniform strips of egg, but they work well on mushrooms and strawberries too. Now you can have sliced strawberries for your spinach and strawberry salad in no time.

We have ruined two egg slicers trying to slice srawberries, the first one was not impressive, but the second one looked as though it was strong enough. It pulled the stainless wire out of its locks, and ruined it. Strongly recommend against trying this with an egg slicer.

You can use them for slicing cheese, kiwis, bananas...

My mom used to have an egg slicer and I loved playing with it. Until I popped one of the strings. Then, I put it back in the drawer and pretended like I knew nothing about it. Needless to say, she knew that I had done it. Banished from the kitchen! Heheheh!
