While it's available year-round, eggplant is best during its peak season, which begins in July and extends through October. I could shower you with eggplant recipes, but decided it would be more fun to see what you can recall about this purple plant (which was once thought to possess transformative love properties). Mmm, I love eggplant. I always hated it growing up, but I think that's because my mom didn't know how to cook it properly. A good eggplant parm... mmm... I need to make one!!

well i did better than i thought i would! i got more than half of the questions right. interestingly enough, my mom has a vegetable garden and she just found 2 ripe eggplants that are ready for me to cook with.
