Would You Eat This Soy Sauce-Flavored Kit Kat?

Soy sauce-flavored Kit Kat isn't a new concept — it's just one of many other flavors, like green tea, melon, and pineapple, that have been readily available in Japan.

But apparently, the novelty flavor also happens to be the nation's current bestselling Kit Kat variety.

I'm all for the sweet-salty combos; however this one, for some reason, has about the same level of appeal as a salty cup of coffee. Are you open to the concept?

YES! It's incredible tasting!

I try any kit kat. The lemon vinegar variety was surprisingly refreshing, but my current favorite is dark chocolate passionfruit raspberry.

I like salty/sweet combos so I would give it a try at least.

I think it sounds kinda tasty! I love the sweet/salty combo! Besides, life is too short to not try soy sauce Kit Kats!

It sounds disgusting... but yes I would probably taste it with an open mind.

I have also had it. I brought them back for everyone in my office as well, some refused to taste it! I liked it. It reminded me of maple syrup - I didn't really taste spy sauce.

I have eaten it! And it's fantastic! One of my favorites. The rose and bubblegum flavors are my least favorite. Green tea & apple vinegar are also favorites! I brought a bunch home from Japan! They know how to make candy fun & interesting. The sweetness of the white chocolate with the slight saltiness of the soy...yum!

would definitely try it, provided they have it with regular milk chocolate, not white chocolate; I love soy sauce /tamari or other salty foods with sweet things like nougat, or my favourite chilli pepper, salt and honey popcorn
