Super Bowl Party Dip Recipe For Chili Con Carne

You can't go wrong with a spicy chile con carne dip. I'm Katie at Hipcooks West LA. And I'm going to show you how to make this addictive dip. It's a real meat lover's dream. These are the ingredients that you're going to need: salsa, cream cheese, garlic, onion, jalapeno, ground beef, taco seasoning and cheddar cheese. I just added some olive oil to a pan and I'm heating it over medium heat. Then I'm going to add my chopped onions and saute them for about five minutes. After that, I'm going to add our jalapeno and garlic. Saute them until they're nice and fragrant. It smells amazing in here. Anytime you're cooking between onion and garlic, it fills your house with a delicious fragrance. Now we're going to add one pound of ground beef to our vegetables. You want to break up the meat with a wooden spoon and mix it with all the vegetables. for a healthier option, use ground turkey instead of ground beef. The beef is nice and brown and broken up, so now we're going to add one jar of spicy salsa and taco seasoning. The beef has been simmering for ten minutes and now we're going to turn the heat really low and add in the cheddar and cream cheese. If you wanna make it in advance, pour it into a serving dish, let it cool, put it in the fridge, and then heat it in the oven right before serving. Serve dip with lukewarm tortilla chips.
