You may know how to pour a strong margarita or how to cook up a tasty tequila-lime chicken. You may have even taken your turn at mixing some mean tequila cocktails, but how much do you really know about the zippy spirit that can make you so happy?

Well, since today happens to be National Tequila Day, we thought we'd test your tequila knowledge. One tequila, two tequila, three tequila . . . go!

I have tried some freakin yummy tequila that I think I might like better than a cognac. oh so good and with NO salt or lime!!!!! I am buying 2 bottles for x-mas one to give to my aunt who LOVES LOVES LOVES tequila and the other is to open and share that same day because I want her to have a bottle just for herself!

100%.. thats what I get for listening to my bfs continuous facts about tequila!! Argh I dont like the cheap stuff though.. one too many nasty nights off it.. :L

6/8. I do like high quality tequila, not something that is easy to get in Finland though...the really fine ones do not need salt or lime, and are as easy to distinguish and appreciate as cognacs. Seriously..there are some wonderful ones out there if you are willing to get off the beaten path a bit.

Fun quiz! Now I have a hankering for some tequila. I apparently know all of the miscellaneous weird facts but I had no idea there was a town called Tequila!

when you take a tequila shot...saying goes: "Arriba" - shotglass held high "Abajo" - shotglass held low "Al centro" - shotglass held out in front "Al dentro" - drink from glass immediately cheers!
