8/8 nice work me. I've been barista-ing for a couple years though so I would hope so. Ditto on the Macchiato frustration! Starbucks sizes when you are NOT in starbucks is also really annoying, and dangerously confusing because at a lot of coffee shops "tall" means large.

5/8. I'm such a failure. :P I don't like espresso though, so I never order any of those. My drink of choice is the Cafe Au Lait, regular coffee with steamed milk. I knew that the Starbucks version of the Macchiato was wrong, but I had no idea what a real macchiato is like. So I got that one wrong.

Amberhoney, Starbucks took a pre-existing drink name, Macchiato, and used it for a completely different drink. For those of us who work as barista's elsewhere (I have been doing this for ten years), this is never-ending frustration. I have to ask anyone who requests one if they want an actual Macchiato or the Starbucks drink. Why would Starbucks do that? I don't know. For a company that took Italian words for their sizes, you'd think that attention to linguistic detail would reach into other things, as well. Macchiato is Italian for "marked". Espresso, "marked" with foam.
