Texas State Fair Deep-Fried Food Pictures

Don't mess with the food in Texas! Just ask Lauren, who's fresh off the plane from Dallas. Here are some of her favorite eats.

Just last week, I hopped on a plane to Dallas! I have only seen the airports of this huge state but my best friend just moved their, so it was time to explore Dallas and Fort Worth. We spent a couple hours at the Famous State Fair where just about everything is fried and spent a day in Forth Worth. By our own luck, Fort Worth was having its annual cowboy weekend. Real Texas cowboys come from all over the state to compete in a variety of cowboy activities like showing off their chuck wagons, cooking beans competition, and, of course, just riding horses around town. Texas is a big place full of delicious dishes, I was only able to taste a few!
