I would eat brussels, but I can't get over the smell...:(
I love green beans, in anything really. I HATE brussel sprouts! We also fixed mixed greens :)
My dad used to cook brussels sprouts just so that he could watch me make horrible faces when he forced me to eat them. After years of avoiding them because of that childhood trauma, I recently tried them again- and still hated them. Green beans, however, are great any way you prepare them. And I am a sucker for green bean casserole.
I hate brussel sprouts! I'm making green beans and green bean casserole this year. I can't believe people don't like green bean casserole...yummy!
Roasted spouts FTW! I do like green beans, too, but not that nasty casserole.
green beans or my mom's texas potatoes!
I love whole green beans with a little olive oil, sea salt, and garlic. I like to mix in some mushrooms usually. For Thanksgiving I like to make them with cranberries instead. I really hate the green bean casserole, though. Probably because I used to stuff myself with it on holidays when I was younger. It makes me queasy to even think about now.
i'm always a big fan of green beans - so that's definitely going to be my side of choice out of those 2 options. i have to admit that i've never had Brussell sprouts so i don't even know if i would ever go that route.
i love brussel sprouts!
It's weird that so many seem to be anti-green bean casserole. I love that stuff! I guess because I only have it at Thanksgiving - but I can eat a whole casserole by myself!!
Green peas! Brussel sprouts are nasty bas*ards.
Le Sueur peas!!! I hated them when I was growing up, but now it's tradition.
Only thing I ever agreed with George W on...we both hate brussel sprouts. Give me the beans with bacon and almonds.
I enjoy both because I'm just into green veggies, but lately I've been more into brussel sprouts. I think I wore the green beans out a little.
I love both equally, but green beans are more crowd pleasing.
I actually hate green bean casserole... Green beans FTW.
I like both but if I had to choose between the two it would be the green beans without the casserole. I do not like greenbean casserole
yeah no casserole thanks
Green beans, hold the casserole.
Brussel Sprouts have bad rap! They are so delicious!!!
Yes to green beans, but no casseroles.
quitecontrary, I mix my peas in with my potatoes too ;) and I mix those french-fried onion sticks in with them,too-makes my hubby sick ;)
angelaaa, I love collard greens! we make those too ;)
but only if they're the small ones, the bigger one's are all tough and bland
