Vosges' Red Fire Tortilla Chips

I really enjoy Vosges Chocolates (at least the two exotic candy bars I've tried have been delicious) and really need to hunt down some of their (new?) Red Fire Tortilla Chips. I read about them yesterday and have been drooling ever since. They're organic corn tortilla chips, covered in chocolate and topped with ancho & chipotle chiles.

Um, chocolate covered tortilla chips with a hint of chile?? Sign me up! A 6oz can is available at Vosges for $20.

Anyone tried these? How do they taste?

I've tried them!!!! We had them over Christmas. They were office gifts and purchased at Neimans. My hub and I are big chili fans, but did not enjoy these... BUT the plain white chocolate (for me) was yummy! and the plain dark choc (for my hub) was his fav.

Definitely interesting. I'm not so sure if I like the whole chocolatey AND chile taste together. I LOVE them separately! But I'd give them a try anyway... I like their ice cream though!! :DROOL:

Vosges ROCKS! I saw the shop on the Food Network and got to visit it while in Vegas last summer. The chocolate bars are not as good as the truffles. I can only imagine how good the tortilla chips are. YUM!

I have had these and they are sooooo good. My husband and I are addicted to everything vosges and I surprised him with these last Christmas. I wish they had had a bit more of a cruch but very yummy. I found them at Fox and Oble (best grocery store in Chicago) where they have lots of these products. If you are ever in Chicago there is also a Vosges store on Michigan ave in the same mall as Nordstroms.

Ehmagod!!! I love chocolate covered chips! (e.g. Royce) The chiles make this sound divine. Shall try to hunt this down :P

I haven't yum, but they reminded me of a dessert at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Chocolate Nachos. Yes, as it sounds they are what apear to be fresh hand dipped tortillas-both plain and chocolate, fresh out of the grease, they are propped up against 3 bowls of ben and jerry's ice cream for dipping...strawberry, chunky monkey, and one other, drizzled with chocolate syrup, sprinkles and chopped strawberries. mmmmmm. _________________________________________________________ Why don't you wear the face you have when I am not around?
