I love okrah, especially pan fried. I don't know why anyone would want it to taste like eggplant. Eggplant tastes like nothing to me.

Thanks for the okra link! I really want to like it, but the only time I tried to prepare it it turned out so slimey it made me gag. :( Also, I really want to grow plants/herbs in my flat this winter - thanks for the info Grlykool! I have to start looking into that stuff.
