Burger King isn't the only fast food chain hoping to run away with a chunk of McDonald's sales; so is Wendy's. After overhauling its fry recipe for the first time in 41 years, Wendy's is claiming its newly reformulated natural-cut fries with sea salt have beat out McDonald's in a nationwide taste test. According to a statement from Wendy's, 56 percent of consumers taking the test chose Wendy's, compared to 39 percent who selected McDonald's. Are you inclined to believe the results of this survey?

McDonald's fries aren't vegetarian, so Wendy's wins. They taste good though, better than what I remember McD's tasting like.

Not a big fry eater, and I haven't tried Wendy's new version. When I do have fries, I have always preferred Mac and Don's Supper Club over all others. But then I tried the Smashfries and Smashburger about a year ago. Thin, crispy, tossed with rosemary, garlic and olive oil with the the right amount of salt. WINNING!

I don't eat fries or chips....if they were made out of corn, like palitos de maiz kinda thing, then maybe. But i hate potatoes.

I've had both but prefer McDonald's fries. Wendy's new fries are soggy and too salty to me. When you want to eat fries, they need to be hot, crispy and lightly salted.
