Maybe it's because PartySugar's moving, but lately I've been obsessing over all the things I want that my kitchen doesn't have. Last night, I apparently had nothing better to do than to salivate over the die-cast food processor, cinnamon-colored Kitchenaid Stand Mixer, cast iron Dutch oven, and large oval platter that exist only in my fantasy kitchen. I think it might be time for me to create my own culinary fund. What kitchenware have you been lusting after?

espresso bar! I have the perfect spot for it, but when I remodel, that's the same spot for the pantry.... sad.... espress bar....... pantry......... espress bar....... pantry......... espress bar....... pantry......... decisions decisions

I have a good food processor and an immersion blender; they're both super handy and don't take up much space. I would like a standing mixer, but would LOVE a bread machine (over 20 attempts at doing it by hand, I give up), a pasta press, a pizza stone, a Dutch oven, an ice cream maker, and counter space more than 2 square feet. Oh, the list could go on...

To Karjofas, I would say in order of use: OVEN! Stand mixer, then panini maker :)

Honestly, a huge part of my excitement for getting married next year is the fact that I get to put the Kitchenaid Stand Mixer on our registry. I NEED IT!! :-) I've been wanting one for years...it's been too long!

A large antique kitchen cabinet (like a hoosier) is the dream purchase. I'll keep scouring Craiglist for a good price! As for needs, a stand-alone stainless steel microwave since my new house's kitchen doesn't have a built-in.

Like many, a real food processor. Also, a pressure cooker, a deep fryer, and slow cooker. I finally have enough extra storage space to fit those 3 in. Also, we need to replace both the refrigerator and dishwasher.

I no longer fetishize over equipment or cookware after learning that it doesn't necessarily translate to being a better cook, making tastier food or even increasing efficiency; opening lifestyle magazines and daydreaming about my perfect kitchen is no more : (

Cuisinart food processor and immersion blender. I'd love to replace our oven with a viking/wolf, etc, but can't afford yet!

I was lusting after the Kitchen Aid mixer for the longest time, ever since I made a delicious cheese cake one Thanksgiving years ago. But my mom got me a mixer this past Christmas!! :D Now, I have to agree, an actual food processor. That would be awesome.
