What Do Men Like to Cook?

Uncrate, which dubs itself as a web magazine for guys who love stuff, recently asked their readers (mostly men) what their favorite dish to cook was. Some of the highlights include "Meat + Hot Coals," reservations, chicken parmesan, and asparagus risotto, but there were also a surprising number of chocolate responses (chocolate cookies, chocolate beer stew). My favorite comment came from one reader who said:

If you're a guy and can't make Prime Rib, you may as well put on a dress.

My favorite thing to cook is this Hispanic roast pork called: Pernil. My fiance is an amazing cook. Better than me even. His best dish is home fries made in the oven in cast iron.

My boyfriend is AWESOME when it comes to cooking on a grill... and guys standing over a hot fire= hot looking guys! He is also a firefighter! Those guys can cook!

I love to cook and do 80% of the cooking in my house despite the fact that my boyfriend is very adept in the kitchen. It's tough to choose one thing, but I love making my own pizzas; dough and all.

my favorite thing to cook: what I want to eat! but seriously. I suppose my three favorites would be: smothered burritos, my meat spaghetti sauce, and my annual smoked brisket....but that's just cause those are my favorite things to eat :)

One of my favorite things to cook is red beans and rice with sausage! Its spicy and yummy and even good as left overs!

I can't cook :( i wish i could...i bought a nice fancy set of williams sonoma cookbooks like 3 years ago and havent used them not once. my boyfriend likes to cook breakfast. it's delicious
