What Do You Do For Lunch?
Jul 13 2007 • By
a combination of all of the above.
just curious but who actually has time for lunch?! i'm in my first job out of college and I work straight thru lunch ... I usually keep a box of Kashi GoLean here at my desk or some fruit but there's never time to actually enjoy going out!
I eat leftovers every day. I actually make it a point to have more food prepared at dinner so I can pack it for my lunch. I treat myself to a lunch out with friends in the area every two moths or so. I like the convenience of bringing my own lunch and the savings that comes with it!
my boy and i go out for lunch everyday.. i know what a good way to spend money but hey.. its soo relaxing to get outta work and go sit down for an hour or so
Mostly, raw green salad with red onions, brown rice, boiled breast chicken, all seasoned with roasted sesame seeds, chopped fresh scallions, Bragg and a good flax oil, yummy! super healthy and I really love it!
new day..new lunch
I teach and our lunches are cheap in school, I usually buy but there are days when I bring my own food
All of the above! I usually eat out for one lunch a week. And I have days where I don't eat lunch at all. And about once a week I'll have something new that I've made that later becomes leftovers for the rest of the week. I used to just skip lunch all the time, but I'm trying to be better about that these days.
I like to use up any leftovers I might have in the fridge.
I make my lunch all the time. Salad with canned salmon is my current fav.
When 3pm rolls around, I'm like, "will someone please feed me?!" I get hungry just hearing about all the yummy recipes on Yum.
I always make enough for dinner to have 2 lunches leftover - one for my fiance and one for me.
It depends. Sometimes it is so easy to order lunch while at work (which I REALLY should not do--too costly and heath issues). But I sometimes will bring in left overs or make my own lunch and bring it in. :-)
Almost every day I bring salad greens and a pre-cooked chicken breast and assemble a grilled chicken salad here at work. Either that or a frozen lunch. Then I surf this site while I eat.
Does a sandwich count as making something new? Seems liek the same old thing to me when I'm eating it every day. I go out to lunch once in a blue moon.
Usually the canteen in work  Although the past couple of weeks I've worked through lunch a lot
i don't really have a lunch break so i usually eat oatmeal or a sandwich at my desk
I usually eat a salad at my desk that I premade at home. I get up early so I leave time in the morning to get everything together. Today it's red peppers and olives with mixed greens: new week i might try that black bean cobb salad on the site (if not definitely a dinner plan!!!)
I'm cheap, I bring my lunch. It's a special treat if I eat out!
eat right frozen lunches
lean cuisine :)
I like to bring my lunch as often as possible. If I don't have leftovers I make a simple cheese sandwich and pair it with fruit. I'm also more of a grazer and will eat half of my sandwich at 1 and the other half at 3 or 4.
I like to eat lunch from home. My boyfriend works half days on Friday, so sometimes we go out to lunch or he brings me something he made and we will eat outside or in his car depending on the weather. I try to get out of the office to walk or sit and enjoy the weather, but sometimes it just doesn't happen.
I'm with you blackjade - if the weather is nice, i like to sit and eat in the park with a good book and lots of people watching!
