What Do You Know About Peanut Butter?

The other day I popped down to the local deli for a quick sandwich. The folks I was with were talking about how great the peanut butter and jelly was, so I ended up getting one for myself. I rarely eat peanut butter sandwiches, and it was definitely a nice treat.

Surprisingly, May is Peanut Butter Lovers month, so to celebrate I thought we could all make a quick pb sandwich, and take this little quiz. So what are you waiting for?

MUST TRY my new favorite thing: Polaner All Fruit Black Cherry Spread with Peanut Butter, on split top wheat...but any bread will do....

i looooove peanut butter! I can't keep it in the house though because i have a hard time controlling myself. i eat it straight out of the jar.

Yeah I eat a lot of peanut butter. I agree with everyone about peanut butter toast sandwiches, with jam or honey. I'm also currently addicted to homemade peanut butter milkshakes or PB and banana smoothies.

Oh peanut butter. I never realized just how much of an American thing it is until I studied abroad in Spain. You can still get it there, of course, but only in certain places.

I find it hilarious when my British co-workers look at me in horror in the canteen when I slather peanut butter and jelly onto a hot toasted bagel in the morning and smush it together with delight. My boyfriend gags whenever I make it around him. I'm like, you drink Guinness and eat black pudding - come on, that's disgusting!

5/7... Love me some PB. Although now that Whole Foods has opened in Nashville I ONLY eat the kind that I grind in the store. About 2 years ago I switched to natural. I used to LOVE Peter Pan, but now, all those kind taste so.... processed & artificial. It grosses me out. And I LOOOOOOOOVE fresh ground almond butter.

I sucked on that quiz but I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I especially love pb&j toast. I have a method to my toast. as soon as the bread pops out of the toaster I have to put the peanut butter on it...can't sit in the toaster one second because it still needs to be hot in order for the peanut butter to get all melty and yummy. Then I add the jelly. I only eat creamy though...chunky is gross..it hurts my mouth (I know I sound five). :)

Having found one pb sandwich in my lunch everyday for my first 8 years of school, I have to rate them with fish sticks and tuna casserole as three items that will never touch my lips again. Peanut butter is good to wrap around any pills I give my dog though.

I bombed the quiz but I know I like peanut butter. I get it bulk from the store where you hit the lever and it grinds from fresh peanuts right there. Mmmm, gooey.
