"For me...it's not a heat preference, but a texture preference. I haaaaaaaate super chunky salsa! I won't touch pico de gallo. I have a real loathing for raw tomatoes, and having big ass chunks of tomato in my salsa makes me not wanna eat it. I like a more puree style."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DITTO! I have the exact same issue to a tee! LOL!

I am such a wuss when it comes to hot salsa..not only that, it gives me some wicked hartburn :O My favorite was Newman's Own Tequila Lime salsa but I don't think they make it anymore. Defintely love the La Victoria now..doesn't give me an ounce of heartburn :WOOHOO:

I've never seen this type fo salsa until today snd i ate it! I'm completely drunk from Cinco de mizzle, but i must say, it was quite =good but tasted kinda like ketchup! HAHA! ketchup.

my favorite salsa is newman's own black bean and corn...not too hot, but a great flavor! if you haven't tried it, i highly recommend it!

My favorite salsas are: Black Bean salsa Corn Salsa (with or without beans) Pineapple Salsa (Baja Burrito's in Nashville especially) Mango Salsa and Salsa Verde. Or... my grandma's homemade salsa! For brands, Newman's makes a great salsa, Desert Pepper is AWESOME (I've gotten it at Publix & Whole Foods), & Mrs. Renfro's come to mind. Oh, and Walmart's Sam's Choice White Corn salsa is delish too! Hmmm.. is it obvious I like salsa?

The heat really isn't the deciding factor for me - it's the flavor, and the freshness that I look for in salsa. I would rather make my own than use any bottled salsas, but some of the refrigerated store bought ones are pretty good.

I usually like salsa that has good flavor I dont mind a little spicy kick as long as it tastes good!!

I love Casa Sanchez. I was lucky enough to go to school with their grandaugthers and the always brought in chips and salsa.

Actually the Casa Sanchez salsa picture is my favorite store bought salsa. When I make salsa myself I use about 15 jalepenos or habeneros. I like it super hot.

Supa hot! There is one restaurant that I specifically go for to have chips and salsa. Their salsa is brain-tingling hot.
