I used to use Romaine all the time but found that I got bored with taste. I used mixed greens now, and my only criticism of it is that every once and a while you'll get a piece that still
tastes like eating a plant you just picked out of a random place.
I've become a salad snob - I NEVER buy iceberg and very rarely Romaine, unless its winter and there is nothing else. I LOVE mixed greens and spinach. Lately I've been lucky enough to get
homegrown lettuce and spinach from my mom's garden. What a difference!
My parent would always give me iceberg lettuce growing up. I hated it. I had to use a creamy dressing like ranch dressing in order to eat it. After awhile it wasn't working. (plus the ranch
was too many calories). I switched to mixed greens and I love it! I'll never eat iceberg again!
My husband has "issues" with spring mix type lettuces. I guess they are too much like weeds for him. We usually do romaine because it is hardy and he likes it too.
i use all of the above depending on the dressing. Vinaigrettes for more delicate lettuces such as red leaf and creamy dressings for romaine or iceberg..I also like arugula, butter, or
boston...
I haven't figured out how to keep the baby greens from getting slimy if I don't use them the day I buy them. I usually prefer romaine or butter because they're hardier and I don't have to
serve them the minute I buy them.

3I ♥ baby spinach in salads. No matter what I use, I always throw some baby spinach in there now.
4Romaine w/ some spinach. Why eat Iceburg? There's more nutrition in the greener salad, so I think if you're going to eat a salad, eat a green one!
5I hate iceberg lettuce.
6everything but iceberg
7Mixed greens mostly but it really depends on the ingredients in the salad itself. I LOVE my dark green leafies.
8Mixed greens or spinach for me! Then I throw in some pear slices, saskatoons, or strawberries.
9In addition to mixed baby greens/spinach I have been enjoying baby arugula "salads" w/balsamic and fresh raspberries as of late...
10Mix of romaine, red leaf/green leaf and butter/boston lettuce.
11I like the spring mix and/or spinach. But the herb mix at Trader Joe's that I just discovered is becoming my new favorite.
12I love boston lettuce as well as baby spinach! I hate iceberg!

14arugula!!!! rocket!!!! arugula!!!
15My husband has "issues" with spring mix type lettuces. I guess they are too much like weeds for him. We usually do romaine because it is hardy and he likes it too.
16All of the above plus arugula, kale, and butter. Other greens include peas and string beans. I need variety or I'll never eat a salad (sad but true).
17Raw spinach.
18Depends what I'm in the mood for. I'll use spinach, mixed greens, romaine, whatever!
19I prefer mixed greens, but whatever is on sale is what I usually buy.
20I use all of them..Depending on what type of Green salad I am making.
21ice berg is my all time favorite and also romain!
22All of the above, except Iceberg. Baby spinach and arugula are my favorites.
23it's really a toss-up between romaine and iceberg. depends on what kind of salad i'm making. or i'll do a mixture of both.
24I didn't know people still used iceberg for salads.
25i use all of the above depending on the dressing. Vinaigrettes for more delicate lettuces such as red leaf and creamy dressings for romaine or iceberg..I also like arugula, butter, or boston...
26i love all.. i mean as boring as iceberg can be nothing beats a wedge salad with blue cheese and bacon and red onion YUM
27I hate the spring mixes - sometimes you'll get a bite that tastes like weeds, though I love romaine, spinach, and butter lettuce!
28Baby Arugula. Spring Mix gets slimy quickly.
29Ahhhh iceberg - brings me back to school lunches with the blocks of stacked iceberg lettuce drowning in never-ending thousand island dressing.
30mixed greens (and reds), romaine, red leaf and green leaf.
31I agree that there is nothing like a nice wedge of iceberg. Why put weeds on the table to eat. Iceberg worked when I grew up and it is still the one.
32Spinach...with cherry tomatoes.
33i only use spinach. my mom always serves romaine and iceburg...yuck. oh, sometimes i like butter lettuce.
34I honestly don't know what the greens are... lol.. I think I'm in it for the dressing..
35All of the above!!
36I know it is not good for me, but I love the crunchy taste of iceburg
37i'm a fan of baby mixed greens, especialy the pacifica salad from fresh express... with tofu! yum.
38i usually mix a little bit of everything, extra baby spinach
39I haven't figured out how to keep the baby greens from getting slimy if I don't use them the day I buy them. I usually prefer romaine or butter because they're hardier and I don't have to serve them the minute I buy them.
40I've been enjoying a salad made with arugula, grapefruit, and avocado with a champange vinegar vinagrette....Yum!
