We had chocolate, wine, Amici's pizza and several treats i baked up from the recipies i found here on Yumsugar. all in all a great yummy filled evening :)
I do not eat creamy pasta, chocolate, drink champagne - and I had meat last night so tonight was FISH! yum yum! I did have some fennel & I do believe that is a "sexy" food! ha ha!
fjari, hope you don' get food poisoning from it! Last year, my boyfriend and I ordered that heart shaped pizza from Mangia's and got so sick. My menu tonight's like savvysugar, creamy pasta, champagne, and chocolate.
we went to whole foods and each selected 3 little tarts, cakes, puffs etc. and got some strawberries (him dark choccy my white) and we'll start the evening with a mangia heart shaped deep dish pizza!
MMMM!
Chocolate for sure...I've already been doing that, hehe.
Also, whatever I have for dinner. I'm not sure what that will be since my boyfriend is cooking me a surprise dinner, but it will be some sort of chinese food.
We're indulging in simplicity since the 14th falls during Lent this year. On the menu: potato leak soup and grilled scallops for our appetizer and entree with homemade shortbread cookies for dessert. Sadly, no wine.
I am lucky enough to work at a fabulous new Golf and Spa Community in Florida with a fabulous chef. We will be having Lobster Tails, Crab, Grand Mariner infused strawberries, tenderloin and other fabulous sides. I would love a glass of bubbly tonight as well.
My husband doesn't cook, so we're going to cook dinner together and make pumpkin ravioli in brown butter and sage. Indulging for him is actually cooking his own meal!
I'm making my cheesy salmon, broiled scallops (I'm making my boyfriend try them), twice baked potatoes, maybe some glazed carrots or another veggie, and that Robert Redford dessert. I may also pick up some bubbly on the way home. :pepino:
All of the above, well except for steak and pasta. I am cooking a romantic valentine's feast for my honey and it will definitely include oysters, caviar, champagne, and chocolate.
I'm making a delicious dinner for my hubby. Filet mignon with a red wine reduction, garlicy lobster tails, a creamy mushroom risotto, and for dessert fried ravioli stuffed w/nutella. Can't wait!
