What's Your Favorite Dive-Bar Snack?

Recently I read an interesting article in 7x7 magazine about the pleasures of dive bars. It got me thinking about dive-bar food. You don't have to admit that you frequent dive bars, but 'fess up: What is your favorite dive bar snack?

Pork rinds are always a bar staple here in the Philippines. They're called chicharon here, and there are different kinds. I love it, but of course I only eat it once in a while.

The dive bar by my house serves very good wings. My runner-up choice would be peanuts in the shell.

None of the bars I've ever been to ever serve snacks. Some sell typical bar food though.

i like the nut mix - not necessarily peanuts only but the mixed cashews and the sort. i don't know how i really feel about the bowl on the bar though - you just don't know where everyone's hands have been prior to my reaching in

I've never seen pork rinds at a bar and would eat them if did. I don't like nuts much so prefer the snack mix. A dive bar I used to live near had a big jar of pickles on the counter, those were awesome. Beer and pickle. yumm :drool:

Oh, I frequent the hell out of some dive bars near me. None of them serve any of the above crap tho. They just serve regular bar food, of which I guess I would say quesadillas are my favorite.
