It depends on the dish. I am such a mushroom freak, buying different types of mushrooms is always on my grocery list.

Definitely not a mushroom eaters but I love the character Sorrel in Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke who is a mushroom loving brownie lol

i'm a porto fan since they are the meatiest type of mushrooms and when you're eating at a BBQ and everyone's having a burger and you're a vegetarian, at least you can grill a portobello and have something that's similar in meatiness :) i'll eat just about EVERY mushroom out there though. i used to be so scared of them because of textures, but i've outgrown that one.

My husband always thought he didn't like mushrooms but that was because he'd only had button. He now enjoys the more flavorful ones that have a meatier texture.

agrepina, yes - yes it is weird. i love mushrooms! especially grilled mushrooms! or i just warm up in the microwave some mushrooms and cover them in spaghetti sauce. so good. or just in scrambled eggs! now i'm getting myself all hungry :(

Foxie, they don't normally have them in the grocery stores, most of the times you can find them in more specialized stores or something like Whole Foods. BCeliberti, it's not an allergy, it's indigestion. All mushrooms are more or less indigest, especially if not cooked properly.

mmmmm marinate some portobello mushrooms in your choice of spices and olive oil and balsamic vinegar over night then bbq SO TASTY!

my dad goes hunting for mushrooms up where he works and he comes home with POUNDS of the morel mushrooms and they are so good!

LOVE mushrooms! Morels are my favorite (but like truffles, usually only have them on special occasions). Love trumpets, enochi, oysters. When we visit my hubbys family in poland we go mushroom picking, and get a HUGE assortment of fresh mushrooms, and then they dry them over there, and send them back to us later.

I just looked it up and it seems that a cremini = buttom mushroom, also known as an immature portobello. I love learning something new!

I would've chosen an "all of the above" since I love all mushrooms. I'm surprised cremini wasn't on the list as it is very popular and another favorite of mine... I guess it would fall under the portobello category though. Mmmmm now I want some cream of mushroom soup!
