Toss-up between costume and dance! I like cocktails too if some food is included
Oh heck, I like them all! But costumes and dances are fun!
I love BBQ parties - it might sound rednecky, but I love the music, sunshine, and the casual vibes of it all. Those are the kind of good times that I really think of when I think of summer vacation.
And now if winter would just come to an end already... :/
I love it when friends have the karaoke machines.. A few drinks and its the best party ever! lol.. well at least in my opinion!!
Game night!!! Laid back and never a lack of things to do, cuz there's always great games to play.
As much as I would love to have a cocktail party or dinner party, it doesn't fit with the people we hang with. We're more BBQ people, I guess. But in my fantasy world, I have elegant dinner parties ALL THE TIME. We're also "Make five kinds of Velveeta dips in crockpots" Kind of people. Sad.
I think I love dinner parties because I love it when everyone sits down together to eat and talk. All the other parties are the kind where everyone mingles around...but I love it when a good group comes together for good food and good conversation....a tasty cocktail is always nice too!

BBQ Parties are always lots of fun. There's always lots of food and lots of fun things to do
My family has really embraced grilling lately. It is more like a hobby for my boyfriend and dad. They do an amazing job too. We are not talking burgers and hot dogs here. They study the like of Stephen Raichlen and Bobby Flay religiously. We love to have BBQ's so all my Mom and I have to worry about is side dished, apps and desserts.

There is no way I could decide! It all depends on my mood I guess. I just love throwing parties of any kind. :)

I love cocktail parties because I think my friends act a little different when they are all dressed up. Just a nice change from drinking beer in your normal clothes!
