Yesterday we asked about where you like to shop for groceries and today our Best of 2008 coverage continues. Now we want to know where you prefer to buy kitchenware.
So fess up: where do you like to buy pots, pans, tablecloths, placemats, servingware, etc.?
Monsoon
It certainly isn't my *favorite*, but Meijer is where I can afford to shop for gadgets and still buy food at the end of the day.
1I love TJ Maxx.
2I love William Sonoma, but since it's so pricey, I only buy things I really need from there. I just bought my Mom an offset icing spatula from there for $32... good grief!
3Target gets the job done for me.
4i have to say that target has been my go to place this year - that or Linen's N Things (i know - bankrupt) or Bed Bath & Beyond since they have the things that i want and not as expensive.
5I'm obsessed with Williams-Sonoma.
6I love HomeGoods/TJMaxx. I've been able to find everything from Wolfgang Puck Cookbooks to fancy Provencal salt pigs and Ralph Lauren tablecloths for a steal! I'm all about the look for le$$.
7TJ Maxx and Target for me. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford the groceries necessary to use my new kitchenware.
8I love William & Sonoma, Crate and Barrel is another one of my faves.
9The always have the hard to find items.
I love sur la table. But can only afford to shop there occasionally. Live 2 miles from a Crate & Barrel outlet so that gets most of my dollars.
10Target or Bed, Bath, and Beyond... They are in (relative) driving distance and I can afford to shop there!
11William Sonoma, but I also shop at 2 local independent stores that have hard to find and eclectic kitchen items.
12NapaStyle and I have a M. Chiarello panini grill
13I LOVE Williams-Sonoma, but it's so darn expensive that I only shop there a few times a year. I always think it's funny when I watch Ina Garten talk about all this kitchen equipment she gets from the hardware store. I want her "hardware store" in my neighborhood because my hardware store doesn't have much.
14Tuesday Morning for me. I've been stocking up on the great Calphalon baking pans over the past couple of months. Now I've got a bread pan, a square cake pan, two baking sheets, two round cake pans . . . they're awesome, and all cost less than half what Calphalon is supposed to cost! Woo hoo!
15I love most of them but they are too expensive. Kohls has quality stuff but really good deals. Last year I got my daughter the 5 qt. Kitchen Aid for less than $200. Now that was a deal.
16When I was in the USA it was Williams Sonoma and Bed, Bath And Beyond (they have a pretty nice selection).
Scotland doesn't have the huge assortment that England had in terms of shops but I have some catalog favorites for sure: For gadgetry and such, Lakeland Limited is great (by mail order) and Cucina Direct is pretty good also.
17I sometimes go to Sur la Table on my lunch break just to browse. I love that place. They have beautiful serving dishes.
18Definitely Williams Sonoma! I've been an avid Williams Sonoma lover since I was tiny. lol I can stay there for an hour once I walk in. However, I wouldn't purchase plates or silverware there, though.
