When Do You Start Planning Thanksgiving Dinner?

Yesterday, the first of November, kick-started Thanksgiving mania. We want you to have the best Thanksgiving ever — that's why we're sharing our favorite recipes, most helpful tips, and inspiring ideas. While I'm an avid planner and have already started thinking about menus and what I'll be serving come the 25th, I know not everyone is as crazy for Thanksgiving as I am. When do you start thinking about the big day?

My mom takes care of most of the dinner, but I try to help out. I start looking through magazines for cool desserts or side dishes to add the the usual spread in October.
