Where Do You Grill?

I grew up barbecuing in a big Texas backyard, but I don't have the same luxury today. Now I live in the densely populated city of San Francisco, where it can be hard to find a place for a grill. I've even come across a number of San Francisco denizens cooking on the fire escape! My friend Conway — who doesn't have any outside space at all in his posh condo — even lent me his gas grill, since he has nowhere to put it. Where do you grill?

I grill in a tiny back porch area near the back stairs to my apartment!

I live in the heart of suburbia and find many people here keep their grills in their garage and roll them out on the driveway to make dinner. Really? I mean I live in suburbia - not a trailer park!

My boyfriend I go to our parent's houses when we won't to grill, because we don't own a grill! We are unemployed right now, so we can't buy one :(

Well, we have a small balcony but it has been over run by all my plants and vegetables. So currently no place to grill unless I go to my parents house :)

i have an electric grill (bc that all we're allowed to have) on my patio. it's cute and blue and matches the tile on our deck!

Although the thought crossed my mind, my father would KILL me if I put a grill on the fire escape.

......by the way.......it is illegal to put a grill or any other items (flower pots) on a fire escape.....that's why they call it a fire escape and not a "blocked" escape.....so I've heard.
