Whenever I think of traveling, I always think of those weird SkyMall catalogs you see on flights. Even though I know I'm not going to purchase anything, I always end up skimming through them and chuckling at some of the outlandish items. To make this week's travel week feel a tiny bit more authentic, I thought it would be fun to skim through and list some of the crazier items. The wackiest one I found was for a $129.99 Chilled Shot Machine. This machine will chill any shot of alcohol in no time at all. Just attach the bottle and pour. i do love the skymall mag... hours of entertainment, especially the pool stuff (floaties, floating bars, floating coolers, floating playpens. you wanna float it? skymall's got it!) but the upsidedown tomato grower is truly a skymall staple. and here is the thing: say you got one, and planted it and grew it... WHY? Why would you do that? Also, where do you put this in your house?

I have been wanting Jager machine! :)I love flying and getting to look at the Skymall. It is like watching Infocommericals...stuff that I know I don't need, probably won't use, and won't work...but I need it anyways! hahaha :)

Hahaha. They look really absurd when you see them all together. My favorite has to be the Gourmet Pod Maker. Like, if coffee is THAT important to you, I doubt you're drinking it from a pod.

I like the heated ice-cream scoop. There's been a lot of time wasted trying to get icecream out of the tub and into a bowl. Usually I just end up forgetting about the bowl! ;)

I can't imagine having room for or even using any of these! I do have an "egg mcmuffin" maker though. It's a toaster with a compartment on the side to cook an egg in and heat sausage (the pre-cooked patties, like Bob Evans or Jimmy Dean). My brother got one for Christmas as a joke a few years ago, but know everyone in my family, including aunts and uncles, has one! It's the greatest thing for when you want a hearty breakfast, but don't have time.
