As part of our Best of 2008 coverage, I'd like to know who your favorite Food Network chef is. Could it be the energetic Guy Fieri, who really has become the next Food Network star? Or is it Bobby Flay, who continues to charm the food world with his Throwdown challenges? Or possibly gorgeous new mom Giada De Laurentiis, who has a new show, Giada at Home? Love Alton Brown. I also love Rachael Ray, even though she irritates me a bit. Giada...I don't like. Paula Deen is funny, and I like her recipes, but the over-use of the word "y'all" is annoying. I live in the South, no one is like that (that I know of) Bobby Flay is the grill master, but he acts like a little girl most of the time. Guy is kind of a tool box, but he's amusing. Tyler is like the nice version of Bobby Flay. Ina has a massively annoying laugh, and her show is a bit bland. Alton Brown is just so informational, creative, just amazing.

I love Alton Brown, I learn a lot from him (#1 choice) I love Good Eats and him doing the Iron Chef America :D I like Michael Symon a lot, he brings a lot of new twists to good food. My husband loves his love of bacon . I even more love the guy from the original Dinner: Impos sible (I know, not really a FN chef, but, I like him a lot :D)

i voted for paula, cause her comfort food just looks so delish! my fave on food network is sandra lee just cause its hilarious how easy it is and how much effort she puts in her cocktails. but she isn't a chef, obviously

None of the above. I like Ellie Krieger and Nigella Lawson. I think Nigella is the most beautiful woman I ever seen (and her show is good, too.)

I went with Bobby Flay because I love Throwdown, but Ina Garten is one of the best cooks, I love her recipes, just not so much her personality.

I like Alton, but he's a little too anal for my tastes sometimes. I voted for Tyler Florence because I think he's a great instructional chef and he explains everything really well...plus I think he's hot! I also like Ina because she's so proper and her recipes are really great...easy yet elegant. Guy Fieri seems like he'd be a total dick when he's off-camera. He always complains about having to do his own damn chopping/slicing/etc. on his show. Hello, it's a cooking show, you're supposed to, ya know, COOK THINGS. That includes doing your own prep.

Paula grates on my ever last nerve. I love Giada and Alton... although I voted for Alton. I love Good Eats and when he does the Feasting on Asphalt specials.The Take Home Chef guy is Curtis Stone on TLC... and although he's not a Food Network guy, he could come cook for me anyday.
