Our best of 2009 coverage continues! Now I want to know: who was your favorite male chef of 2009? Was it one of the Top Chef Masters? A culinary great or a bad boy chef? A Food Network star? David Chang is amazing. Momofuku is so yum. I hope that everyone on here gets a chance to go to one of his restaurants in NYC. God, its great.

If you watched Top Chef Masters, then Hubert Keller is definitely at the top. Rick Bayless is great too, but personality points go to Hubert. And Michael Chiarello comes in last. His ego is far to big for his achievements. It's sad too, i used to like him when i'd watch him on his PBS show.

I want to write in Christopher Kimball from Cook's Illustrated, etc. The rest of the guys cook, but Chris teaches ME how to cook. I'll never eat any of the food from the chef's listed, but I eat Chris' recipes every week!

Rick Bayless! I grew up watching his show on PBS, I loved him then and I love him now! Chiarello is my second favorite!

I love Bobby Flay! He's simply amazing to watch on Iron Chef and Throwdown. Although, I also must admit that I think Rick Bayless's food is spectacular.
