Would You Drink This Avocado Cocktail?

Today PartySugar stumbled across this avocado cóctel. Dan from The Food in My Beard based it on a drink recipe featured in the New York Times, but added cilantro to it.

Perhaps it's because I just ate lunch, but the chunks in the picture gross me out. Still the idea of an avocado cocktail is interesting! What are your thoughts on this drink?

i love avocado & cilantro! especially avocado smoothies. you'll never know what it tastes like until you try!

I am a cilantro-holic, (love) so I would try it...not sure I would like it but then again I love gazpacho, I don't mind V8s, and this is sort of a greenish, alcoholic cold veg thing too..so, sure.

It looks a little skeevy... But avocado is a fruit... So I imagine it would be tasty.

A sip wouldn't hurt to try. I love avocado juice/smoothie since I was a little and I always make them at home.

Love avovado margarita's they are so yummy and I have discovered cocktails with herbs are yummy, a nice change of pace, so heck yeah I would try this.

It kind of reminds me of a bloody mary only with puree'd avocados instead of tomato juice. It looks really tasty to me...and puts me in the mood for mexican food.

I know I would definitely try it but I do not think it would be a favorite drink of mine. I love avocado on my chip and cilantro but not sure if it is as great as a drink.

i might try a sip but i think that's probably about as far as i would go with it. i'm not one to really enjoy avocado but it's interesting to look at!
