Would You Eat This Appetizer?

I recently attended a party where one of the appetizers featured a gorgeous plate of marinated artichoke hearts. Coiled on top of each heart was the slippery little body of an anchovy. Before you judge this salty appetizer, let me tell you these were the highest quality, best-tasting anchovies I've ever had in my life. The pair was surprisingly delicious and I ate several without hesitation. Could you do the same? Would you eat this appetizer?

HOLY CRAP this looks like the BEST appetizer EVER! I wish I were @ this party!!!! I think I am just going to make them tomorrow, for myself to eat!! I would never share such a YUMMY "dish" with anyone! hahahahah~

I'll try anything once, but I'm not a huge fan of anchovies. I love artichokes though..

At very first glance I thought that was bacon on top and I thought to myself "Yum!"... I don't care for artichokes very much but I pretty much love anything with bacon. BUT then I realized those were anchovies and it's a big ol' NO THANKS for me!

um - i think that i'll have to pass. it doesn't look appetizing to me. and i like artechokes - so it's kind of a sad thing that the anchovies on top ruin the thought for me

I'd try it, I mean, you only go around this rock once, right? Seems like it'd be a bit salty for me, but I'd probably end up really liking it. Hard to say.

I like anchovies and artichokes, but the picture doesn't look appetizing. I would still probably try it.

Not usually up my alley, but I'd try it...and most likely end up liking it. Some of the yummiest things I've had have been things I've been wary about. Example is pickled herring. My family, not too long ago, came from Denmark and pickled herring is a traditional dish there...but, I was terrified. And it ended up being DELICIOUS!
