Would You Eat Spam Singles?

While watching The Oscars last night, I saw a commercial for Spam Singles. The pre-cooked meat products from the folks at Spam are easy and convenient and come in both original Spam and 100% white, lean turkey Spam. I'll admit, I think Spam has its place, and when browned and chopped into fried rice, it can be really tasty. However I don't know if I'll end up picking up these pre-sliced singles. How about you? Would you eat Spam Slices?

Mmmmm.... SPAM-a-licious! All you people who say "Ewww," don't knock it till you've tried it. And if you have tried it, then oh, well. More SPAM for me!

No, no, no. My mom used to use Spam quite a bit in various ways when I was growing up. Even mixed in with fried rice, I can't stomach it. Yuck.

I'm not sure why people are so "ew!" against Spam. I mean if you've had hot dogs or bologna you've had pretty much the same things that is in Spam. As a Hawaii girl I eat Spam. Not sure if I can find the singles in Canada but will continue to eat Spam because I think it's yummy!

EWW! Icky-Icky-Icky. I don't even eat regular Spam so why would I eat the Singles? May I also note that the people in the advertisment look very cheesy?

It makes my stomach churn just thinking about it. That could be because I always associate SPAM with pork and I don't eat pork. I doubt I would try the turkey.

I got hooked on Spam after my friends and I went to Hawaii for our last spring break. It's not quite the same eating it in the middle of Texas, though. There was just something about eating Spam & eggs by the beach.

We used to eat Spam alot when I was little. We weren't rich, and Spam was good and always did the trick! I haven't had it in years, but I'd be willing to try the new spam singles. :)

I've never actually purchased or ate Spam at home, but at the state fair last year they had a booth that gave away free samples of this stuff and it was actually pretty good. I wouldn't buy it and eat it regularly, though because it's so unhealthy, but it was yummy!

I love spam and its not "mystery meat" its made of a little potato starch, sodium nitrate, salt, sugar, pork shoulder and ham. Thats it. I mean its not good for you by any means, but its tasty nevertheless.

Why all the hate for Spam? I think it taste okay pan fried. But then again, I'm from Southern Virginia and we eat all things meat or meat flavored. LOL :-)

Vegitarian here, so I won't be partaking... something about canned meat that just doesn't sound right. I don't even like eating those cranberry mold things at Thanksgiving! Ick.I had a friend in college who used to eat it all the time... in fact, he's probably snacking on it right now, it is lunch time.. ugh. I'm a "no" voter.
