Nachos are one of my all-time favorite foods. So much so that on Super Bowl Sunday, I decided I would open San Francisco's first all nacho restaurant to fill a much-needed nacho niche. Naturally at Super Nacho — my restaurant's work-in-progress name — there would be a nacho cheese fountain. The nacho fountain first appeared on Serious Eats yesterday; DJ Grocery borrowed his wife's chocolate fountain and turned it into nacho lover's heaven. While I would dive headfirst into this nacho fountain, I want to know what you think about it. Would you eat nacho cheese served in a fountain?

i would eat from a nacho fountain if in my private home and only with family.. if in a public place, i would not... people do not follow etiquette and tend to "double dip" , use fingers etc... and that would not be the best situation.... what about having the fountain and then folks could get their cheese from it, place i on their plate and dip from their plate and not directly from the fountain.

I would go for it if it didn't look so much like...well, like hurlage. Leave out the chunky bits for the cheese fountain and stick to smooth cheese, please. However, I bet it tasted good. I guess I'd just have to turn away while I dipped LOL

Great idea, but it looks horrible... perhpas a fountain was not the best presentation idea.. I'd stick with the traditional fondue pot.

The barf fountain is really gross but I'd totally go to Super Nacho.
