Would You Rather Drink Soda From the Can or the Bottle?

Recently, a friend told me that she only drinks soda from the bottle, not the can, because it tastes better. I don't drink enough soda to detect a difference, but since then, I've been trying to compare the two to see if there is any variation in taste. I've never tried them side-by-side, but honestly, I think they both taste great.

How about you? Do you think soda from a can tastes different from soda in a bottle?

You can get coke in a glass bottle at least here in Pennsylvania they have them in most grocery stores.

I agree, glass bottles are the best. The first time I drank Coke from a glass bottle I thought I was drinking an entirely different drink. So much better!

if i ever do drink soda which isn't all that often, i would rather have it from a bottle than a can. i don't like the metallic taste from a can, and to be honest, i prefer flatter soda which i feel you can get from a bottle than a can. i actually like a 'fountain' soda better...is that weird?

I prefer soda from a can because it's colder and fizzier. I absolutely HATE fountain soda though...I've had too many bad experiences with the syrup running out or the carbonation being "off".

if forced to choose between the two, i choose can (colder!) but if given the option of anything, i pick a mcdonalds glass, fountain diet coke, with ice and a straw!

I'm not much fo a soda fan...BUT, I would opt for the bottle for the sole reason that I don't know what little critters have been playing tag on top of my can in the warehouse.

In a glass, filled with ice. Has to be drunk from a straw as well.

Can tastes better to me - although I have been on a coke strike for a little over a year now, and they taste sick now. I can't handle a whole one on my own, after two sips I'm done!
