Apples 100%...pears are too grainy for me. I also like the tartness of apples (well, certain varieties, I suppose) and how versatile they are.

Both are so good. I have apples every day and pears only occasionally so I always think of pears as something special.

apples but I only really like fresh picked apples that are rock-hard and bruise-less - LOL picky I know.

An apple, a pear, a plum, a cherry....any good thing to make us all merry....

I love both. I like apples more because they're easier to cut/slice and nibble at. Pears have to be eaten in one swoop :) not that I mind though, especially if it's a nice juicy pear. I had never seen a honeycrisp apple until saturday. made apple muffins out of them and some apple (dunno which) from my tree in the backyard. the combination was a sweet yet tangy explosion in the mouth. i have devoured nearly the whole batch -.- :pig:

i like tropical fruits like mangosteens ,mangoes , lychees, Longans and rambutans!!! lol. thats what happens if you grew up in a modest asian 'village'. apples and pears become and acquired taste!

Nectarines! But given the choice..apples, I don't like that wierd pear texture.
